Hi, I’m Gwen Murray. I am a Certified Canadian Counsellor. I offer online counselling for individuals who are feeling stressed, overwhelmed, anxious, or burnt out — those doing their best by stuggling to hold everything together.
Life is a journey, but it can be unpredictable, moving and shifting, often in ways we don’t expect. The pressure to manage it all — work, relationships, responsibilities, and the constant push to keep up and do better— can leave us feeling drained, uncertain, and disconnected from ourselves.
Yet even within that uncertainty lies possibility: the chance to pause, realign with what truly matters, and rediscover ease and meaning. in your life

Whatever you are dealing with big or small, your relationship with your counsellor is a crucial foundation that underpins your success in counselling.
At its heart, therapy with me is a collaborative process — one built on curiosity, compassion, and genuine connection. I believe healing happens in the context of a trusting relationship, where you feel free and accepted for who you are.
I take a flexible, client-focused approach. Meaning our work together is guided by your unique needs, pace and goals. We will work collaboratively to create a plan that hounors these needs. Drawing from evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused interventions, I bring expertise and empathy into every session.
Therapy offers a space to slow down, to make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface and to discover ways to bring you closer to who you want to be and how you want to live your life.
Everyone is on their own journey. That’s why our individual therapy sessions are designed to meet your specific needs and goals. Together, we can work on:
It’s your space, your pace, and your journey. and I am here to support you with whatever you’re dealing with, big or small.

Reaching out for help is an act of courage and a meaningful act of self-care.
However, taking the first step towards support can feel daunting. If you have questions, would like to learn more, or simply want to meet me before beginning therapy I offer a free 30-minute consultation.
